is packet editing the only way to cast skills or there is another way to do it using memory?
and without using quickbar slots? o.O

No idea about memory, but even with packet you'd have to make people change their skill order in skill list or detect skills and get their order ID, because the packet sends both skill ID and skill order ID when used. GL with that :D

When you follow the AoE address (CE Codesearch) you'll get to the ADD xxx,AoE command wich adds the aoe value to the skill and execute it.
You can also find the start of this subroutine within the JMP-table at the beginning which is called later from cabalmain.exe code.

I didn't invest much research in the subroutine and it's parameters but it may be a good start for casting skills.

With all due respect, it will dc if you casting skill from another class (e.g. warrior use death tempest), so it's pointless. Do you want to create a bot to cast skill like m*xc*b*l?

btw, brutality mode/ limit break/ burst damage hack (no cast time + no skill cooldown) is more than enough
