What are the best rings for a sorc damage/defens??

well i prefer 2xIntel Ohks or mixed whit Intel Shuta.
and for Tank use gaia rings max slotted and stamina/ress stones

Why would you ever want to tank with sorc?
So you can stand stunned and not be able to kill anything even within ten levels of you, big accomplishment.

Makes no sense to me. Die and get back to killing with those Ohkeros'.
IMO

hestia necklace/exc faren as tanking neck, but yea it's not a tank class, but if u want to just max your hp

To maximize dmg - int shutas. To maximize dps - int ohkeroses. To maximize hp - 5 slotted gaias with res + stamina. Thats all ;)

So that one skills gives you roughly 3000-4000-5000 more dmg. How do you make that up in uniks ? ? ?

The answer gets far worse when you look at HH skills that have even worse CD.

gaia threrr? WHY? ex sentinel much better for tank... have all stats 3 slot block and resistence NP u just lost stamina 40 for neck but u won 4% res. more and block NP

Max damage of cooldown sorcs on me: 3800ish
Max damage of me on cooldown sorcs: 4600ish

I never have to wait for skills. My skillbuild allows this. So I don't care if a spamsorc can cast his strongest skills more often, my "weaker skills" have almost the same dmg.

I'm not saying don't use ohks. I'm saying use 1 and combine it with another ring by choice. The extra +1 stage on it makes a hell of alot of difference. Offensive and defensive wise.

Damage isn't everything... You can ask any player on Urzark what the outcome in a pvp against me will be. I don't spam skills, don't see the point. I'm not bragging, but just as you don't see the logic in my reasoning I don't see the logic in a spamsorc's.

Every aspect of my sorc is focusses on survival, tanking. That's how I play my toon. The damage I happen to deal is just a neat bonus.

But to each his own playstyle, everything has it's pros and cons. Find the style you like and stick to it! If everyone was the same the game would be boring.

Sorry man I have to disagree.
Sorc skills with just +1 uniks doesn't add a 20%-25% damage.
By the way I play a more tanking style sorc, but only play on occasions like Siege etc.
I just didn't agree that cooldown gives less DPS and I still think it doesnt even after your example.

I got your point Voldonx. But every1 have another style of playing. As far as I can see definitly more sorc's are skill - spammers. And they have to use ohkeroses to not wait for skills. w/o perfect build and eq 1 uhkeros isn't enough if u don't use combi or lens+. And using combi with sorc is suicide :)
