Problem with Log-in in 5530...

I have set up the source i managed to log-in without an password assigned to the account in the database, but later i managed that the source will not read the password from database,i have managed to replace the system with an working one from another similar source, i tested it, it worked well but now it seems it's not working at all....what issue might have caused that?
would it be the database? or something else?I am using an 5517 client upgraded to 5530 with the sources patch for client.

You cannot use a realllyy old client like 5017, run 2-3 patches intended for the source you're using and expect everything to work.


There's HUNDREDS of patches between those two versions. Download a proper client for the source before you try anything.

Sorry i meant to say 5517....not 5017...Also, i have fixed the error ...the client seems to be making troubles.
