If you're using the 7.4 GS you HAVE to use a 7.4 client....so no to your question

It is possible to run the 8.1 Client with the 7.4 GS. How? Exactly the same way like every time. But 90% of the new 8.1 features won't work. And you will get display errors.
And as i told you KLaratel...pls stop working with the files the base knowledge and the needed searchskills are missing or you are too lazy to use them!

I'm sorry. And who told you that I am working with databases? I'm working on the translation of the client, and + this almost brought to mind Title.
