You will get banned if you used it to duplicate stuff, just like me!!
They banned me before few hours, so i realized it would be better to warn you guys before you get banned too!!

If you are reported, you will get bann even if you create 10 000 shrapnels...

If you made 100k of each stuff, you will be able to make 1,000,000 shrapnel, they will check your logbook if you bought the 100k items (pistols, armors & cutlasses) or not!
