..The file name of the effect glow for in game as shaiya x had rain bow trying to find the effect dds or tga files but yet having issues to find these thanks in advance.

Shaiya X had custom effects, you would have to download their client and extract the data to find them. I don't know the number exactly but it would be under the effects folder in the clients data.

i have seen shaiya x is still seeding there torrent so it is not really closed just as i see are not remodeling if i am correct but yeah i found the answer of my issue thanks again for help :)

What Shaiya X did was not located within any DDS file or anything like that.
When I asked Abrasive about the "skittle glow" he said it was located in the game.exe.
From what I was told by him the rainbow color wasn't what they originally wanted, but editing it to a specific color wasn't easy.
Never tried it myself because I was never interested in a rainbow glow o.O
Glow effects are located in a file named Weapon.Seff.
Yet you can't change the color or anything. Basically just a MLT type of file.
Saying what glow goes to what type of weapon and all.
Yet how to open it...that's what you'll need to find out :P

Even if the game belongs to a company the private server work is still made by another person.
That work should be respected and not be used unless the people that did the work give permission.
Which the staff of X was really nice and I'm sure they would approve to people that asked.
Yet the point is why use someone else's work in the first place?
I mean ALL the tools to do the work they did plus more are pretty much at your fingertips >.>
I personally..when I worked on servers...never opened anyone else's client.
I did everything on my own and learned it my own way.
Then again that was so long ago most people didn't do anything that was..amazing other than places like Exile and others.
Which most of that work was all database or ps_game. So hard to steal. Not like most people would know what to do with it though :P
