so why dont you actually make something simple that actually looks legit and not
photoshopped? or atleast explain your "mod" better.

-Because if you know who I am and what I've done you wouldnt have to doubt me. Also what would look simpeler than this, if I want to add a new image I have to make the texture in photoshop anyway, so it looks kinda the same.

1. convert any image to .ddj
2. replace interface texture.
3. win?

what's so special about this?

He didn't replaced anything, he created a new object on the interface.

can you control that new interface object server side?

I'm really not sure since I don't know much about the server software, but first of all the things I can do client sided are limited, because the buttons call 'command id's', which I'm guessing are hardcoded in sro_client.exe. So I can't really add anything functional unless I can find these commands somewhere in the pk2 files.

EDIT: if you just mean changing static content, you can change that by patching, but not during the game as far as I know.

So it is not much usefull, i think peoples wont like spam with advertisements which cant be turned off on the screen .

Who knows, maybe I'll find some other useful stuff or maybe somebody with a server can tell me about some interface related server-side stuff. The advertisement was just a joke, but you could infact use it to advertise upcoming events and or to let people know about certain discounts you have in the store, it doesn't have to be as big as the one I showed here, I admit that's quite annoying :P
