player select question

does any 1 know if it is possible to edit character select ? like show weapons also when u choose ur char at select. cus in the char_selectinfo.txt thers just directions and stuff so this means i need to edit exe for this ? or any other file to edit this ?:D , and also the char creat file. i wanna add chars wearing waepons ther but the weap just shows up like this.. XD

as in put armors on the char at char create?, i dont exactly remember its been along time, but its property? not sure lol

data\script\producer ther are the files u can change armors. but i wanna know how cud i make it also show weapon/wings on :( i tryed but they just apear inside the char as statue.. D: , and also at the character select screen u never see what weapon ur char wears.. i wanna add that too but i cudnt find anything so maybe some 1 does and can help me out ^^

I'm not 100% sure what you are talking about or what but....

It's possible to add gear to the character creation part because my server has done it. Not exactly sure how since i personally didnt do it but id look at SP_Charcreate or w/e its called.


As for wings/weps showing when your at login screen you may need to edit something exe/db wise. not 100% sure since i havnt done it or seen it done yet. May bring the proposal up in my staff section and see what can be done.

If you equip the gear to your default characters they should most likely show up on that screen wearing said gear. Haven't done it in a while, but should work.

afaik, you cannot add other things, the exe's are setup to receive so many meshs at creation, so armors will show, but not weapons and rings etc, becuase there are only so many lines that will load and afaik they have set positions as well.

i could be/might be wrong, but i had a staff member ask me if it was possible to put the new armor on the character at creation (not start with them, just show when u are making the character) and i told him i didnt think so, but he directed me to another server that does, and i researched it in the files, and yes, u can add armor mesh, but like i said i cant find anything to add anything else.

if i am wrong, i apologize up front and would love to know how to do it, if i am right, sorry man :P
