Help: Big Problem

ive got this problem i have tryd changeing the OS several times like 10 times in 4-5 days :| can any1 help me? [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

i have spent like 2 hours googleing the problem and i found out its a msvcrt.dll error and i have found on google a replacement but when i try to replace the one i have with the one i got i cant.. it says its used by a program and.... can any1 theat know how to fix this problem help me?

hey man if u want i give u here my msvcrt.dll i have xp sp3 professional....try it and tell me if it worked...

ty rex but if u read the post u will see what i have sayd meaning i have got a copy of msvcrt.dll (and i am useing sp2) but when i try o replace the one theat is in my system32 i cant it says its used by a program alredy i had vista installed maybe its from there but i have formated my c:/ every time i install a new OS

It's because your WINDOWS is running. You can't fix it while running, maybe safe mode will do it? I'm not familiar with that but try if it fixes.

how can i acces safe mode? still trying to figure it out sometimes it works but when i try now it wont let me chose on what mode to enter :|
Later edit like 5 min later :) : i have figured out how to enter safe mod but it wont still let me replace it
says theat its used by a program i hope some1 can help me....

Its part of Microsoft visualC++

Try uninstall, and install MS Visual C++ again
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

or try close other programs wich use lot of memory and see if after that u will still get that error.

Well I got this problem when someone tried to edit my shop.dat
I took the one that was previously edited and put the old one back in and it worked again.
Did you try to add items to the shop.dat?

like i sayd on yahoo my pc isent theat bad its like a 2 Gb ram core duo 4600+ and i am running max 35 programs and its like a 35% cpu useage and 500 MB ram useage

i havent tryd but i hope i will be fixing this problem with my new OS theat i am going to install in a few minutes :)
