About character names on Play9D

Hi.

Right on topic:

If I delete a char called LOL1, I can't reuse the name "LOL1" because it's already taken however the char is deleted. But I remember being able to reuse the same name after deleting the char. But now I really can't.

Any solutions?

It's just how it is.I don't think you can use that name again. Make a character named LOL2.

You can't use names again because they are still inside database.
So you could PM Play9D for some solutions or something BUT i doubt that he'll help you with it.

The solution is;
Use small letter or something to your name :)

I did something like this;
First character: Witek
then -Witek-

You need wait for 7-8 days after deleting that character.

He is right,you need to wait a while after you delete your char and you can reuse the name

He is NOT.

I deleted characters/or some1 did around 3-5 months ago.
I tried with many old character names, guess what? Fail.

Did you check your name someone else reused it already ? ^^
Ah, i forgot to ask your deleted character's level?

I'm more than 10000% sure that someone DIDN'T reuse them. Level doesn't really matter.
Mostly characters were high, IM1, H6, LM12
and storage characters (they were mostly GC1).

Even after name change of one character :) i tried to reuse name which shouldnt exist. But i failed .
So yeah . You cant reuse names .

Yep, you can't ever reuse a char name that's been deleted. There's a reason for that however ;). Imagine a good and noble high-level char (doh!!! it will never happen) is deleted and some scammer reuses his name :) Nothing further to say
