1680x1050 UI

Hi ppl

First off, i'd like to give thanks to menasculio (and yes, i did give thanks in his HOWTO thread) for that WONDERFUL utility he made. That put me on the path to customize Archlord's UI to fit my 1680x1050 display (wooooot!!!).

As a show of gratefullnes, here's what i came up with. In the zip you'll find:
COption.ini - a minor tweak there to display in 1680x1050.
ui_1024x768.ini - the re-encrypted ini file that has all the graphic placements
ui_1024x768.ini_ - the decrypted ini for anyone that would like to see what changes i made (be warned though, its messy cause i'm tired as hell; already have keyboardprint on one cheek).

Extract the zip into your Archlord folder (it's in "ini" folder in the zip) AFTER backing up COption.ini and ui_1024x768.ini.

Mind putting up a ss of your game with UI? or is it just the same but bigger?

an other way to change window size is to start archlord in window mode then use a program called sizer to resize the window to the desired size

Here's that screenshot. Please note that during my "path to enlightenment" :rolleyes: i messed up a few textures. The ini changes shouldn't do this normally.

There are still a few things missing, but i'll fix them in due time.

PS: I forgot to do /wide, but that makes it look even better.

Dude i replace ur folder with my and nothing happened :S ??

Can you do this for 800x600 also? To run multiple bots etc

easy ^^ open the COption in AL folder and change to 800x600

but backup the orig. file !

editing the ini to 800x600 will not work - gui will be offscreen partially

First i want to say thank you for making this higher resolution possible as it works perfectly other then a small part of the right screen that is just graphics but doesn't function properly for controls etc. Also to anyone saying this doesn't work , it does but you cannot even option the settings menu on the game client when it starts or it will resort everything back to default ui without hitting save or cancel , it just does it.
Why this game is opening a new server and has yet to fix their ui for about 50% of monitors out there now is way beyond me and kinda shows me where this company stands when it comes to important stuff. Anyways my UI is clear except for function buttons and skill bars as I prefer it like this. Credit goes to the OP for making all this possible but anyone wanting a clear UI version of this is welcome to PM me here.

dont revive an old thread. if you do have a fix make a new thread and post it here so we decide collectively. otherwise i think your trying to steal accounts....
