I posted a thread about selling AO gold here:

It was my first time trading. I have never bought/sold anything before, but now that I finally quit AO, I decided I'd try.

One of the people who contacted me was edsondarkangel:

Added him on Skype, he added me back. Here's the convo:

As soon as he got the gold, he removed me from his contacts. I've already sent him 2 PMs with no reply.

It's 50B loss for me, whatever. I've had my fun in AO, making money here would have just been a bonus, but just beware, future traders.

Like I said in my last PM, edsondarkangel, if you want to solve this, please contact me. You have my skype ID, email and paypal.

always get money first have them gift you the money on paypal then give them the gold

That's what I get for being new to this, I guess.

I'm sorry to hear about it ;(

That guy tried to scam me with almost the same tactic but he wasn't that lucky that time.
Just keep it on mind for next trades.
Rule#1: Never trade the gold before you have the cash into your paypal account
09/23/2012 03:21 evilimprint#6
and make them gift money to your paypal so they cant reverse charges

you cant reverse charges in Paypal even if he/she send as Funds for Purchases, because in Paypal Policy it said, they dont deal with Virtual Goods. know how i know? because i tried and Paypal said they dont deal with virtual goods

you can call you credit card/bank and say the charges were un-authorised, you get your money back. ive had it done to me before

oh i feel sry for you :/

and 50b is not a small amount at all bahhh

my way for selling is get the money first

and better to be gift payment so the buyer can not refund the money back
and no tax fee to

thx for telling us this ill beware this scammer

Don't trade on Skype.
Did you trade with request?

If not it is you're fault, you should take a look at the trading rules and do it better next time.

Sorry, I haven't traded anything in any video games before. Where are these trading rules and what do you mean by trading with request?

I'm still sitting on around 200B in AO so if there's an easy and safe way to trade, I'd be all for it. Otherwise I just wasn't gonna bother with it anymore.
