Who agrees with that ?

I will be creating a poll on whether you agree that anyone who simply advertise his server without caring about the advertisement quality or even giving a damn 5 min reading the guidelines [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] gets his\her thread closed.

There isn't a rule which states that if the structure of a thread isn't an specific one it gets closed.

Yet, if on any way their advertisement thread doesn't follow the board rules, it definitely gets closed and warned/infracted, just can be faster if we get the reports though.

i Completely Agree as the Advertising Section turned to crap cuz of very low advertising level used in Threads

It is for the overall looking of epvp.

There's nothing you can do about the quality of posts from members. As long as they're not breaking rules, they're allowed to post whatever's on topic. It's not that everyone can't advertise correctly, it's just that a lot of bad servers are advertising. People hosting the servers don't seem to know English very well and so they just make a poorly written list of features on their server or post a ton of pictures. Looking on the bright side... at least you'll be able to tell good servers from bad ones.

Yes, what fang said

At EPVP members are able to post anything if it is not against the rules.

Just because a person is flaming, does not mean that the thread should be closed and the person shall receive an infraction.
Anyways, I Disagree but hey some agree, this is just my opinion.
Good luck.
Also before I have post here I have clearly re-read all the rules.

Would be great if e*pvp didn't have all these text-transforms. Remove coloring of text, doing text REALLY big etc etc.

If a person is flaming the thread won't necessarily get closed, yet the user flaming will get warned/infracted for that.

These are actually good and basic features of forums; I understand why you would like this, and actually, if you really would like this, you can create a poll here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] to see the overall reaction of users, and then, this could be done, as we are always open to suggestions.

There are rules against personal attacks, and as John said, the advertisement isn't at fault. I disagree with making a new poll. If you want people to revise their advertisements, why don't you create a thread in the advertisement section *suggesting* how people should write advertisements? Then, you can suggest the thread to people who have bad advertisements. I don't know how well that would do though, considering that most server owners can't speak proper English.

Yea it is, but it's kind of common sense.

People only do that because they think that "OH MAKES IT MUCH EASIER TO READ SO PEOPLE GIVE ME THANKSS"

People will also do this: http://myserverbigfont.tk
Like honestly... its the god danm link... :p
Anyways it's destined to stop soon ;i hope anyways;

Though it seems to attract more noobs.

Only issue with that is that such a thread would be in the wrong section, but if you mean some sort of "guidelines" we have one thread about it already there
