Help with ddj files

can anyone give me a link to download a .ddj viewer or .ddj to .bmp converter pls? cause i want to edit a silkroad fanhomepage with a silkroad style. i extracted the media.pk2, but i dont know how to change the ddj files to bmp that i can work with it. pls anyone can help me???

u can only change ddj>dds
you can open dds with photoshop, but to save them as dds u need some plugin

I found a ddj view that converted to jpg format but i can no longer find it. i was hoping that i could find a link here.

if u have 32-Bit use DDS Converter 2(just google it)

all i get is dead ends and forums i have to register for just to see the dl links and screenshots. that might not even be what im looking for. I should not have to do that.

if someone uses a file format there should be a viewer i can easily find none of this running around bull $%#& i have to do for every single file format we have today. All these big companies should realize this and add the ability to edit these file formats in their programs like gimp / paint shop pro and everyone's fave Photoshop. that's why ppl pay our the a$$ for them.
