Planetside 2 Hacking

I'm currently using a few goodies I made myself for the beta. The noobs don't know any better. How about you guys?

What have you been doing? I found a bunch of addresses, but everything seems to be server sided. I can change the values client sided, but nothing actually happens.

For example, I can change auraxium to 15,000, but the second it ticks to give you more, the value drops again. Also when you try and purchase something it does a check and won't allow you to purchase anything.

With ammo, i can change the value to 99 and everything will seem to work, but it will only be client sided. For example, in the liberator you can change the mortar to have 99 rounds, but only 6 will register and you will not be actually firing the rest.

Tags? Gotcha. I was hoping i could give myself a ton of auraxium. That would be great. How did you go about doing the radar? i attempted to, but mine seems very glitchy.

Health, stamina, money, resources etc are always things that are server side... you cant change that.

Figured, but it was worth a shot. How would one go about creating ESP for this game? My usual methods aren't working correctly.

Well.... what are your usual methods?

This is a D3D game, so as far as programming the hack its not very much different from other D3D games. Just the memory addresses will be different.

edit**

any one know what kind of anti cheat this game will have?

Punkbuster will be used. So public hacks will be detected quickly.

I figured out my issue, I had the wrong addresses for some reason. Assumed I had it right.

Punkbuster is a Piece of shit, imo. Public stuff will get detected quickly, but i doubt anything semi-private will. PB probably won't put a ton of effort into PS2 as it is an F2P game. We'll see though.

If I may ask Mac... what D3D function are you hooking for your D3D stuff?

Dev team said that there will be Punkbuster and in-game GM's/report system. Hacks won't really be detected 'quickly', as with most games, the more blatant you are the quicker the b& hammer will come.

pb isn't that bad of an anti-cheat. It should be bypassed fairly quickly upon its implementation. I expect public cheats to be rampant when the game hits Open Beta/Release.

And yes, I have been playing PS2, this game is god awful. Yes, I have been tinkering with this game, and I know what I am capable of doing. Pretty sure OPK/'pulling' should be as easy to do as it was in PS1. And no, I don't think I'm going to work with many people on creating cheats for this game.

Hey Laughing how are yeah doing. I just message jolt maby he will get it in his email. I talked to him year or so back, but see what he is up too. Yeah game is very demanding, i even have like 16gig of memory but my 2 video cards are lil old. Upgrade soon but good to see ur still around.

I still check these forums every now and then. I was already planning on doing some analyzing of this game here in the near future. I'm just too busy dealing with school and work.

I do enjoy the fact that the dev's got a little smart by packing their executable with a god awful amount of resources plus a packer.Which is predicable and stupid and maybe just there to reduce size, since you can pull the pool of memory that it uses for VirtualQuery & VirtualProtect(two common packer functions).

Dev's solution to hacking: Make the executable so big, olly's analysis runs out of memory.
  • Just turn off main module analysis if you have trouble fyi.

This is half true. Teleporting your self is not possible, due to server-side constantly checking your coords (unlike PS1). There is however some given slack in the process, to compensate for lag(freeze hack will do). There is an unforeseen feature however that the dev's over looked, it'll be a pretty cool thing to do (No hints yet :)).

Also I might release the player structure information, once I finish it(maybe).

As far as cheat detection, they have said numerous times that PB is only one of their methods, plus server-side status detection. You can probably add Crc32 of functions like in PS1 on top of that(seems to be a SOE standard).

:)Sense Itburnz posted, everyone should to the opposite:)

Hey joltting how are things going with you. So guess you already have a planetside 2 key!
