[GUIDE] Change Character Name (eg. [GM]Hellsing)

Hello everyone.

Since everyone believes that changing a character name is a hard thing and only "Wanda" or few others can do it, I am gonna post this.



Step 1:
Create a new Character


Step 2:
Give it a name, something like "BadAssHell", this might be taken already, but won't stop us from doing what we want to do. Wait for the "Join beginner guild" thing and DO NOT PRESS YES OR NO!


Step 3:
Attach Cheat Engine if not already attached and search for the text "BadAssHell".


Step 4:
Since this name was never used in the game and there is no other relation to it, there will only be one address, and hey, it is even green, which means it is a static address, so it will never change.


Step 5:
Change the value of the address to the name you want to have.


Step 6:
Press YES or NO at the "Join beginner guild" thing and hey hey, your name is changed!



Facts to might wanna know:

• You can NOT have a name which is already taken
• You can have special chars in your name, but only some work like [](){} (only a few)
• If you create a new char, make sure you enter enough letters, here is why:
  
  New char name: asdf
  Changed name: [GM]trololol
  Final name: [GM]
  
  This means you need to have the same or more letters while creating the character ingame than the name you want to change it to.

This is not only good for trolling, you can have nice names with that, like my last one called "Z" or anything else with less than 4 letters =)

Z didn't get banned untill I trolled in front of a GM so you can really create serious chars with that.

class rank hack released nick hack released
game just gets boring cuz everyone leaks hacks
and no entry was the best thing to make a lot of profit to few people if it wouldnt be public.. now who can use it? noone cuz its patched
and this & class rank hack will be patched soon
just hold private hacks for urself and make profit (with this nick hack u cant make profit logic, i mean other hacks)

Yea indeed but if somebody reports you because you realizes that your name isn't legit you will be banned as well.

And how would you make profit with a nickname?

But yes I guess this will be patched with the next maintenance (hopefully not because I want to fool around a bit).

CR Hack is patched already :P

But let me tell you one thing:
The GMs know about us, who had this kind of hack I've just posted and they are for sure trying to patch it, even if I did not post it.

So why not share the fun when it's gonna be patched anyways?

serious chars? lol man why would u wanna make a serious char with some name everyone thinks ur hacker? GM will check u -> ban.. if i make serious char i dont wanna drag attention with some 1 character nick and whats the point in having serious char with nick hack? it will just harm u, not do u any good

Since there are already legit chars with names like "iQ" and "Sky" due to account or char transfer, you won't get banned.

And I am just saying that you can have a more "special" name, thats all, cuz 2 or 3 letter names are rare.

GM's will see u didnt change the nick with acc transfer, that u have same nick since u created the char
there's nothing special about 2 letter name really

1. you can not be sure if the GMs really see it, since you are not a GM and
2. for some people it might be special, if it's not special for you, then don't complain about it...

I know CR Hack was patched (I mean I read it) but there will be something similar soon or later anyway.

Hellsing is right, our GMs are incompetent, I really wonder if they would be smart enough to trace it back. And it should be safe as long as nobody reports you.

Anyway nobody is forcing you to use this "Nick-Change" hack.

i dont know about u but i wouldnt wanna use it with my main char :D

i just dont like people like ts who wanna leech everything for "others to have fun too" probably he got it from wanda's .ct

reason im not happy about it cuz some of us were putting effort in finding hacks manually in ce.. but then some people leech it and take all the credits without even trying a little
im not talking directly about this hack, i know it was quite easy just to scan the name of char u wanna make
