How to Encrypt Flyff .res files

Some one or some body help me. How to encrypt a .res files etc in flyff client.

.res has already an encryption, what you have to do is change the encryption.

I think he wants to know how to encrypt .res files to prevent edition by users. Or something like that.

Yes, you can do a new encryption like the one it has or go better and try with something harder :>

i've heard about xor encryption. What is that? Algo i've tried google, but don't know really what to search.

Go into your resource folder, and then search for Resource.txt

If you change the encryption key, and if someone tries to open your *.res files by using the Flyff Resource-Editor it will cause it to break, so untill someone can change your new encryption key to the old one (0x57) your *.res files will be protected.

But i dont recommend this way of protecting your res files, it aint hard to find out your new encryption key if you do it in this way. But it might helps to protect your files from kids that trying to modify the resources to get Speed/Range etc.

When you changed the encryption key, you also gotta edit some stuff in your Neuz source and you might need a new merge.exe programm to merge your files.

(of course, there is also a lot more ways to encrypt and protect your resource files.)

I'm interested in learning how to protect files with XOR (like xLethal did with monster files and folders, but using an another encryption key is an easy way in protecting server files to prevent "some custom" ^^. I dont know if tangia1426 is reading this topic and if all replies are helping him. =)

Lethal/Monsterflyff using Rijndael encryption to protect their files, its nearly impossible to crack it. I dont think that anyone here on this forums got the knowledge to make that shit work. And even if someone offers you a encryption for like 50-100 bucks, dont buy it cuz its shit anyways.

But it's still possible to reverse their client to get the key. Rijndael is very easy to use and it's already used by Flyff to decrypt/encrypt the password at the login, so it isnt very hard to implement the Rijndael encryption for the resource files.

You can buy the Encryption from Yoshii5000 for 50 €.

MonsterFlyff uses a CUSTOM bitwise encryption which is still possible to reverse, but will take time, a lot more than a simple XOR encryption.
And the Yoshii5000 encryption is shit, someone contact me cause the encryption was not working and I sold they a better encryption, which is much more better than the other servers use.
