[HELP]Changing names, prices of pets and casuals

Hey all, i have problem when i try to change name or price of pet or a casual using ItemTypeediter, theres nothing happen
and i saved it and restarted my client too and nothing happend,

did you also do it in the shop?
You will need to use a shopeditor to do so.

Ok but to be honest i can't edit prices on shopediter idk why

Don't follow what karnyge has said, it's obvious they have no idea what they're talking about. You can't edit the prices in the shop editor because it's just used to add items to a shop client side. To edit the items name and price in the game you will use funhacker's itemtype editor.

After you're done doing the edits you want, put the saved itemtype.dat in your clients ini folder. Sometimes the soul.exe hangs in the process list, so you should look in your task manager and make sure you close all of your opened soul.exe process's.

Now to change it so that you actually pay the price that the itemtype.dat says, you will have to edit the items price or/and the emoney value in cq_itemtype (Make sure you restart the server if you edit this table).

Tyvm and other question please , if i wanna change the item name also will be the same way?

The item name can be changed with the itemtype editor, since it's just client sided.

i tried on itemtype editer and on cq_itemtype too and restarted my client and the server and nothing happened

@dark2141, yeah I mentioned the wrong editor. Sorry about that. You may want to read through the thread about the editor to locate a reason why its not working correctly.

probebly, you did not save the item, on that editor...

i normaly just hex edit my iteltype.dat, but i also used that tool of funhacker.

and yes, i noticed, you have to save every item you edit, and after that save the file... or you wont edit a thing ;)
