Dumb post.

Try watching stuff at 30 fps. Hell, even try watching an old tube TV with 50Hz, and tell me if you notice the flickering in the image.

Change your computer screen refresh rate to 50/60 Hz and tell me if you see it flickering. If you do, then you have just proved that the human eye can see more than 30fps.

A smooth image would have to be above 80-90 fps in order for fast scenes to appear smooth to the eye.

And yes, there was a fps uncap proggy, but it didn't do what it should. It just changed the fps counter in-game to show another number. FRAPS would still say 39 fps.

Yes Indeed, I used that prog. Did nothing other than a number change, no different result in gameplay.

Suspicious, nay?

Code:
int __cdecl LimitRate(unsigned long);
Simplest method would be to hook or modify this function and modify the argument passed to it.

Untested, but name is pretty suggestive.

Open co in olly -> Search for -> All intermodular calls -> type in sleep double click on first instance it finds couple lines above it you'll see something like: LEA EDX,DWORD PTR DS:[ECX+19] and another line a few underneath that: ADD ECX,19.
Change it to 14 for example :) just play around with it a lil.
Changing it to 9 will get u around 100 fps :)
In my multiclients i have it set to 14 works fine for me.
wich sets the limit to around 50.
