What You Need:

Download:

Adobe Photoshop (search it on other site or buy it)
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Scan:

FIRST MAKE A BACKUP FROM YOUR "Media.pk2"

Pk2Extractor
1. open the Pk2Extractor.exe and load the media.pk2
2. go to "interface\Outer\"
3. extract logo.ddj and logo-big.ddj

DDS DDJ.exe
1. open DDS DDJ.exe
2. at "Choose DDJ files to convert into DDS" choose the "logo.ddj" or "logo-big.ddj"
3. press "Convert to DDS"

DDS Converter 2
1. open DDS Converter 2
2. go to the folder "interface\Outer\"
3. choose the "logo-big.dds"
4. at "Output format" choose "Portable Network Graphics (*.png)"
5. press "Convert"

Adobe Photoshop
1. open adobe photoshop
2. open the "logo-big.png" file
3. edit it with what you want

edit:

Adobe Photoshop Save
save it as "logo-big.dds"

[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

DDS DDJ.exe
1. open DDS DDJ.exe
2. at "Choose DDS files to convert into DDJ" choose the "logo-big.dds"
3. press "Convert to DDJ"

Pk2Editor
1. open the Pk2Editor.exe and load the media.pk2
2. at "Manual Single File Import" choose the "logo-big.ddj" file
3. at "Entry Name:" use "logo-big.ddj"
4. at "Entry Path:" use "interface\Outer\"
5. press "Import"

done!

to change the intro movie for an image what file i have to extract and from where?

it its quite hard to change the intro movie. I have tried and failed. I found out its only possible on ksro files for it to work.

But files that need changing to change movie

MEDIA>Config>Option.txt
MEDIA>Script>Intro> These are the scripts that are loaded.


Ok back on topic. I have always had this problem the Silkroad logo is not PNG when I open it but a black background. Even when I have it set to transparent.

you should use gif, i guess...

you need the "DDS Converter 2" to convert it to png

hm, it doesnt work with CS4... i tried many things but it dont work... can someone help me pls... all other apps are workin till this point...

i need help :(

i test this plugin only with ps7 and with ps7 it works 100%

hm... jo buddy... you know that Photoshop CS4 is version 11?

should i deinstall CS4 and trying install version 7?

and then i have to reinstall CS4 again? whats that? i tried to use the newer version of the plugin given by nvidia website... but this also dont work with this version... it is installed but you cant save files into this....

i am not a noob using photoshop only if you think i am a stupid guy...
but i think its the old plugin who doesnt work with the new photoshop
