Having some problems logging into my own server! Help please !

so here is the problem that im having, ive set up my db the way it should be, it's working fine.

The client it's and old client that im using together with the db, it's version is 1071, i'm using very old database, before paladin.

Now the problem itself : as im trying to logg into the game, it goes

then i get an error box with nothing written in it... what could be causing this problem and how can it be fixed?

it is the client itself
the client itself start working from version 1092
all versions before will give that certain error ( so far i tested it out with a phdev version , its a time ago so not sure about that number)

if i am not wrong , you also applied a patch to the client to let it make connect , if not then i think i can provide you that patch but it will give the same result

keep updating your client until you can login , thats the only way to get it working

the patches can be found at the ftp i provided or at the original site and then connect with ftp to the us ftp server

i can logg in but massive problem accured... in debug i get this error

and also the only npcs appear re just the gear upgrading ones. also i cant see my characters name. batch hatcher aint opening... but i think that will come with the resrt of the fixings...

also the client version 1092 has already for paladin and mannequin. coz on the installattion it says demon rising and that wasnt too long ago.

then you messed up a lot of things , that means that it auto updated your client

this client is from 2007 , it is on or right befoe mannequen version (maybe just castle that is in it , it is for the phdev version , oldest version you can find )

if i am not wrong , it should even show a chinese logo instead the normal eo logo
also the intro video is working on this client before they removed it

but it could be that i used a even older client but that i lost that client

eather way , you should put up a firewall to disable autopatching
and update your client per patch manual until you see that it start working normal

as most of the stuff are added later on in the patches and if the server version does not match the client or the db , then it provide problems

it is always hard to find the right version for the db you use :(
