Software connecting to the wrong server

First up, i apologise if i am putting this thread in the wrong place.

Can someone please help me?

Heres a brief description of the problem.

I have a desktop pc, on it is installed 2 different servers, acme and fheo, which are ok together.
I want to install the software for a new server, which runs ok on my laptop.
The problem is it wants to connect with acme on the desktop pc.
My kids play on acme and fheo, but i am a pm on this other one.
How do i install this software on the desktop, without deleting acme, and prevent it from trying to connect to acme?

u mean , when u wanna install the client it ask to remove or what? ??
and why dont u install it at C or any other partition

not quite, i mean when i try run this new client it tries to connect to the wrong server, thru hamachi

it is installed to the hd but runs from desktop, on a desktop pc, not a laptop

i hope that clarifies

it runs fine on my laptop, because no other eo server software is present

it tries to connect to acme eo, not the server stated in the oem files

does acme server use oems????

acme server is still hamachi thought they got out that...

i thought i had described it well enough, but i will try to elaborate

i have 2 pc's, (a laptop and a desktop pc).

the laptop has no other eo server software apart from the one i need.

deleting acme is not an option as i have a son who is staff there.

how do i achieve this?

copy and paste a server client.
Change one of the OEM s in it and it will connect to the server u changed the OEM to.
OEM is the thing that allows you to connect to a server

nope that stopped the software from connecting to any server

i changed both, one, and the other seperately, no luck

hmmm

maybe you have to delte the server.dat[in the main folder] and the oem.ini + oem.dat[in the ini folder]
