It is not free, you can download a client where u can watch streams and all but can't play, and you can sign up to maybe get a free DotA 2 pass or buy a bundle which costs 25e... So if you are ready to pay 25e for it then have fun otherwise i recommend you don't be a wise guy on my thread and go somewhere else...
