How to change ip of client

Hi I'm new here and need a little help. My friend is making a new pserver for dekaron and I dont want to download the client. I heard that if u have another pserver client u can change the ip. So any1 can tell me where to change the ip of the client to my friends hamachi ip.

csv based client - open share folder and change ip in: servantlist.csv, loginlist.csv, channellist.csv
data.pak based client: find ip that ur looking for, then open winhex and use option replace, then put ip that u want to change in 1st window and ip that u want it to be to the second window, then click replace or whatever is it:p
