The thing is u gotto have the right mindset for it, atleast thats my opinion.
its not about being good at math or willing to learn, sure those things help,
but i strongly believe that you have to WANT to discover things and i dont think anyone can mentor you that.
So i fully agree with kinshi, as i read you want to create a private server with no programming experience at all.
I'd suggest to do those simple "hello world" tutorials first get familiar with the syntax And find out why that something happens when u write a particular line of code, find out what it exactly does.
Its not a 1 hour thing that you follow and Wham! u can program.
Start smaller learn basics first, like variables and such.

So for example google: C# tutorials or e-books or whatever, just find everything u want to learn, or buy a couple good books.

thanx for the advice..... and i do want to discover things i just know that its alot easyer with a teacher/mentor.......as everything i know about a comp. was self taught and i can pick up on shit fairly quickly... i just figured someone might want to find someone to pass some skillz on to.... well if anyone can teach me faster than reading post it here
