Ban Question for Mods

I've noticed alot of flaming and arguing latley in the forums.
Do you think people should be able to vote on whether certain people should be banned?
Example: The mod starts a new thread asking for a vote of whether the person should be banned or not.

This question is for the mods, i dont want people flaming this thread!!

Simple enough: No

Peoples opinions vary, the mods have been selected because the admins see them fit for the job... The admins obviously have a sense of trust with the mods...

i don't believe Section moderators can actually ban people... i think its just warnings and infractions, they have to inform a higher member for that job.

why pressing thanks you lil noob! why dont you make a poll

Moderators can post a thread in mod forums to request a ban for someone and from there a higher staff member will look into it (Sal, Lowfyr) and decide what to do with the request.

As for the users to be-able to suggest others to get banned, no. There is a reason why only moderators can post ban requests. :rolleyes: I don't see why normal people should be able to do something like that, couple flames aren't just enough to ban someone + I don't have to ban anyone based on personal issues. lol
