I do not believe there is a single trick or exploit to make this happen...dungeon drops are server based. The best tip I can give you is to play champion mode with the specific character in which you want the armor for

In NAGC, your best bet is to abuse the double drop rate going on these weekends. It's extremely likely to get an orb during them, my friend figured that out when I was helping him.
He was Elesis 1st job, I was a level 80 Geas with Seal Breaker. Shouldn't make a difference though.

There is no way to get a character to get a 100% drop rate. And im pretty sure you cant hack the drop rate since its server-sided (I think i used the right termonology)
You can do what Goomba says and also use the Rainbow 7 Event with it, which boosts the rate.
