Multiple Windows and Socketing Heaven Fan (2 diff questions)

01/29/2009 08:01 Trel#1
First question, I have quite a powerfull computer (can run Crysis on everything max except anti-aliasing), however, when I have 4 or more Conquer windows open, other programs start to fail. Pidgin crashes, and Photoshop CS2 won't start. Anyone else have similar issues and/or know why this happens?

Second question, is there any way (other than that one paid hack) to compose free items into the heaven fan to socket it?

It's not a brand, I built it.
But it's XP Pro with 4gb ram, Intel Wolfdale (3.0ghz dualcore) and 2xGeforce 8800 GT in SLi mode.

ok um, this happens to me too once i get over 7 conquers
i can't click my computer, taskmanager, start etc...

your computer should be able to run over 100 conquers
what works for me is to login on a different windows account and put the max ther, make a new one and do the same
no messing up that way

i'm not sure what the prob is though

One way i find to run mutli accounts is to do the following:

1. hold Crtl & alt and hit delete to get up the task manager.
2. hit the processes tab.
3. from the list select your loaded up CO(s) and right click them in turn and change the Set Prority to LOW.
4. from the same tab end process of any programns you know you dont need running while playing CO

good luck! ;)
