[Help]Mysql problem

hey all

my brother was trying to get the binaries on
on my pc and now whenever i try to log into my localhost connection (with navicat) it gives an error : Host 'localhost' is not allowed to connect to this Mysql.

anyone knows how to solve this

you got on the mysql server from appserv?

no i don't have appserv or any mysql atm
only navicat is on my pc

navicat connects with appserver , wimmp, xxamp etc
else navicat is worthless you need appserver or something else to get navicat worked
