converting

when using winhex after you change the offsets u want
how do u convert the winhex file to the files that acclaim uses
is there a program? or do i have to get the full version of winhex to do this

if you mean 2moons pak then all you need to do in winhex is click save.

More info would be nice like what ur doing. What file did you open. etc.

well i was going through the A,B,C tut for crespo
and decide to change some other mobs as well
i cant save the file b.c its trail version and winhex says its to big
its the pack.d04 file

.....i created a backup of my changed pack.d04 file
because winhex wouldnt allow me to save it
when i open the back up file i cant get the text to read correctly

1. You need a registered winhex to save pak because its large. You can find it somewhere around here. Just use search and you will find one.
2. Unless you have a really I mean REALLY working no crc then you can edit using winhex other than that. Stick to RE.
