Asia server

from all private servers posted in ps section, which of these servers are hosted in asia? preferable near east asia. Because i want to play in a server with lowest ping as possible.

I dont think you will find asia servers here, some use Hostkey that is hosted on Rusia, which is part of asia...

I lol'd at that one, Romania has shit 'bandwitch' to any country. If you're looking for server in Asia you're gonna have a hard time finding one, because servers and especially bandwith is really expensive in Asia. You might try some of the more developped eastern european countries, or you might have luck of playing server hosted in west coast NA.

Also LordyK, I have yet to see something have '0' latency, even if I would plug in an internet cable inside the first network card of my pc, and the other end to another card in the same pc, I would still have a ping higher than 1. I wonder how they do that in Romania, maybe you have better copper than we have [/sarcasm]

Romania is the 2nd country at internetspeed.1st place is Taiwan.

The variety of servers are hosted in Germany, Turkey, and US..

those are all old sources, besides in the articles it says 'Average Connection Speed: 1,909 Kbits/second '. If that is number two of the world than I don't know what belgium is, the -199th place? The slowest internet package you can get here is like 20mbit...

Besides it's not a stereotype, Romania -is- not a very rich country, with a gdp of 8k usd per capita it is even one of the poorest country in europe. This is not racist or a stereotype, it is just a fact. Not that you can do anything about it

I can assure you that Romania got a pretty high internet speed. And more .. it's pretty cheap :)! You can get a 100mbs internet connection with a download speed of ~ 5-8 mbs / sec and upload 1-4 mbs/sec at only 8euro's. :) At 22 euro's you got a 1gb internet connection . VIP connection that can bring you ~ 45 mbs / sec download speed ... :)

Well, that might be possible for national traffic, but I can assure you that's not possible for international traffic, if you know that the average traffic costs around 1$/mbit, it's impossible for your isp to get you 1gbit connections at 22 euro's ^^
