hello, i just installed windows 7 because i had a virus on my other windows 7, why when i installed windows 7 my game lags? specs: 1gb geforce gt 430, ram 4gb, cpu amd phantom x4, 460gb hdd space.

same thing is happening to me but i think its because the game is trying to load other players in the freeroam the you would eventually see on the radar ... just go to options social and enble social filter and driver again you will see that the game isnt lagging when you drive ;)

the phenom has by default the power settings set to balanced.
go into the power settings and choose High Performance. sometimes i can play with balanced(were the freq multiplers are set to 0.8x4 instead of 3,0x4) and sometimes not.
EA still uses CPU performance to generate any cool graphics - i know that lame :)
the game booster will fix this problem aswell fast :)
