A few years back, I joined epvp. Fuck knows what I joined for, I was 13 posting random shit and hoping to get good hacks.

Looking back at it now, boy do I want those years back. Today, all there is is racism, leaking, argueing, constant DDoS'ing. Why is EPVP like this? It never used to be. I think It's because of the files being released, but that's my own opinion.

The silkroad section of this community is literally eating itself inside out. I come on here daily to actually interact with the community, not to be ganged up by 5 12 year olds because my comment about their server isn't 100% perfect and spelt correctly.. I hope you change this epvp, becaues this community is turning into a shitfest.

The community was already going south before the files were released. Actually when EliteSro started more kids joined this section and turned epvp in the thing it is right now.

Also there probably was a lack of moderators. yes there were a few but they are also humans who can't check everything all the time. I think PortalDark is doing quite a good job cleaning EPvp. Although he should use his banhammer more often.:D Since people keep posting their stuff in wrong sections/threads

Not to forget everything is related to 'how to make a server' 'what's the best server' 'what cap do you like most'

well since files released all ppl changed kids changed every thing i remember before server files get on public coding section was the most section active now it's dead

even before servers files where released, when swSRO and ZSZC where active, most of their players came here for doubts
I think that ECSRO was underground enough and didn't had this kind of users

I've been here since 2007 (had several accounts) and man, it was good back then. The section started to turn into shit ever since the server files were released. Then random leechers and annoying kids started to join the section and asked for help on how to set em up. Back when files weren't released there were more discussions about the game itself not about creating shitty private servers which killed the game. Playing on EliteSRO with some friends from elitepvpers was probably the best time I had in any game. Nothing beats that. Alot of cool people used to hang around here, now they are all gone and section turning into shit.

The problem started with the release of the files, SRO stopped being a game and started being a bussiness, where people attacked each other servers and every single noob wanted a 2 click program to make his own sro server.

Totally agree with both of you, back when there actually used to be general silkroad legends just chilling in one section, back when epvp had the normal layout

This section was never for developement from the start. Server files got released here and people took that assumption.

I remember the "good" old times when ppl we're fighting if swsro or zscz/ecsro was better lol >.> This section never had a good community tbh(I joined in early 2009 dunno what was it like b4 that) . When I joined some other gaming communities I was literally shocked that ppl there don't flame , don't troll, don't spam etc.

Actually, its not only sro, most of the online games' files are hacked and released so everybody can make private servers, its just that there is always a huge group of ppl (from the same country) occupy the game and make it horrible. For example, in sro it was Egypt and turkey, in League of legends its france, in Conquer its egypt, so that group is the main reason behind any game/forum/community dying.

You can't if it's poking you in the asscheek every 5 minutes saying help pls
