Let's Play [*Server*] Idea

Well, I've been thinking to do this for some time..


I'm thinking of creating a youtube account and creating videos reviewing every private server which is requested to me and rating them based on Community, Support, and Gameplay. I think this idea is good because I can advertise your server at the same time as rating it. I'll have my voice rating in the background(recorded via microphone) whilst playing the game. The videos for each server will last around 10 minutes.. What's your thoughts on this epvp?

Great idea, i would like to watch all the videos while i am lazy to play Silkroad.

Anyone got any channel name suggestions? and I should be able to cover 2-3 servers every 3 days :-)

Still, you would need some english speakers with NORMAL accent, else it's just a waste of time - we both know Silkroad scene isn't made of native english speakers, so if you pick some shitty accent then the most won't be able to understand a shit from what the reviewer is saying.

Also, another thing that I forgot to mention - the idea's pretty awesome, I've been thinking of doing something like that myself, but here comes another problem - as we know, low rated servers are slow to grind, and I doubt that the reviewers would like to waste hours, days to get to the top just to test every aspect of a server then just make a video.

I think that the server owners could somehow help the reviewers, I don't know, providing them a temporary account with a capped char and some basic equipment, like,+5 maybe, so they don't have to waste their time, and after the review is done, they can remove the account.

I was never an optimist or a pessimist. My attitude's a little bit mixed between cynicism and skepticism, therefore I hope you understand why I'm being worried as for this project's success.

Providing a proper char for advertising purpose - I doubt that an admin would actually refuse it.

Or well you may also only pick those who're willing to support you, I mean it's rather their advantage than it's yours.
