NFS World HD Texture Mod | Release [1.8.2012]

Hi guys,

would like to share this, I was pretty impressed how beautiful NFSW can look with this addon. There is nearly no performance/fps hit when using it, maybe 0,5-1 fps?! Make sure to force 16x Anisotropic Filtering by your gpu control panel to get best results!

Be careful, images never represent the real look in game ...



Instructions

1. Place all the content to hidden directory "..\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\Need For Speed World\Data" where the nfsw.exe is located (!Maybe you have to enable showing hidden folders in Windows!)

2. You can alter the amount of sharpening by opening effect.txt with a text editor and edit value "float SharpeningAmount=3.0;"

3. Deactivate/activate the hook in game with Shift+F12 (enabled by default)

4. Have FUN! :handsdown:

Basicly ENBseries is sort of post-processing Filter, helping you increasing visual Details of many Games. But if you sharpen it too much, you will kill the advantage of Anti-Aliasing -be aware of this.

I have a Nvidia GTX670 and can enable TXAA etc. I recently found out that (without ENB) World looks good on 8xAA / 16xAF / 8xSSAA enabled.

Plus, I recommend everyone to increase visual details before using ENB to get the maximum out of the game. See this post on the official Forums= [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
