00webhost is good. Just don't try running a site with heavy mysql access on the weekends. :p

Out of all the free web hosts I have tried, 000webhost is so far my best. You can either use their sub-domain system, or use your own domain (you pay for it from somewhere else).

It's good; 1.5GB per account; 100GB monthly transfer, no forced advertising. Also has PHP, MySQL, FTP, & E-Mail services.

Unfortunately, they used to have cPanel, but switched to their own control panel. :/ Still is very functional, though.

Hell of a lot better than a 40MB, Ad-forced, not even a GB of bandwidth a month Freewebs account.

I had paid hosting, and because I don't use the current website I own too much, 000webhost has been an excellent alternative for me.

Hosting certainly good.
But not all there is good.
At them is affiliate program.
Here it is necessary to know.
