Howto open own private server?

hey guys,

i have a question: how can i open my own private server without hamachi login?
where can i download the files for opening own server and how can i edit it?
a searched a long time but cant find anything about this..

Instead of asking on how to open it as far as possible try to learn how to protect it (not trying to hate but I've seen many servers without even closing the most important ports and getting hacked in 10 seconds..). Then learn how to edit database stuff and fixing bugs if there are any in your server after you learn everything you will know how to open it without asking. //offtopic ^

uhm okay.. and how is it when i only want to open server for my friends? must i pay for it too?

Use hamachi if you only wanna play with your friends ^^

okay and where can i get the silrkoad files? i mean client mediapk.... ?
