upgrade hack =)

i am just thinking that there is a possibility of an upgrade hack :)

well, i know that the grade of the items is server sided but as i mess with the cheats released by some good guys out there, i noticed that some of those cheats behave such that, for example:the nation change hack, wherein you change the value(1,2, or 3) ....upgrade hack could be possible through:

1. as you have noticed, when a 2 to 3 upgrade fails, there will be a "0" degradation...i was just thinking to make it happen on every upgrade attempts, how to do this? i don't know but i have an idea that it probably works just like the nation hack..im thinking to look for an address(i could refer to it as the upgrade address :D) such that, for example if we compare it to the nation change hack....the outcome of upgrades has a corresponding value 1=degrade by 2, 2=degrade by 1 ,3=degrade by 0...we could try to feeze it to zero >=]

2. well probably an address changes when you have a safeguard kit on your inventory, and probably we can change its value :D(example 1= if you have a safeguard and 2=if you have none)..and also as we all know that with core enhancers, failed upgrades only degrades by 1, we can also try to find an address related to this :)

Well in my book, you are dreaming way too much about random chance to be 'harnessed' in such way...

If an upgrade succeed it goes +1, but on downgrade it can go from -1/2/(earlier episodes -0)(newer always is negative), its kinda hard to pick it as a simple value like nation hack where you have search 1 if cap, search 2 if pop...

can you explain it clearly? it is working on cabal ph?

its always gonna be server sided thats the response you will get sir from the great minds here^_^but anyhing has a posibility^_^ and some do have not

i had another idea to change the value from hp pot to safeguard, so you wont have the same effect like a safeguard but maybe if you downgrade the item you get error code and its still the same? thats my idea.. :D
