I found dedrain more helpful than this site, by far (at least in the previous incarnation, have not checked the new).

Dedrain was full of newbies asking questions, but they tended to get answers there, and people would post actual tutorials.

Here, they usually get insulted, spammed, or linked to troll sites/downloads. While having a mod here means all the bullshit "hacks" and "downloads" you trolls add get removed shortly after I report them now (compared to months ago when the shitheads roamed free), it doesn't change the fact that besides two or three people here, this forum is almost entirely unhelpful.

I created [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] in an attempt to show the trolls here how it's done and hopefully encourage people to actually contribute for once in their lives, but it seems useless as long as a few trolls here continue to bring the forum down, which is why I haven't bothered since then.

By the way, browse around Epvp, you'll quickly see that there IS none of this "mass contribution" you seem to be implying, on this entire forum/site, anywhere (that I have seen, at the very least).
Every section has a Yiting/Spr33/equivalent individual/group who posts hacks/useful things, and then there's the nublets that download/make ridiculous requests.

If you have a problem with this, I'd advise you to start your own forum, but you will always have the problem of a few skilled people being beset by lazy masses who feel entitled to their work, simply because.

Simply put, this is not a forum you go to, to get anything of worth done, this is a forum you put things you want to get patched.
