Own PC as Root - How ?

Anyone know how i can use my PC as Root Server ?

You can use it. Perhaps your RAM is lower then 1GB RAM. Or not enough disk space... etc.

your pc would need to be on 24/7 good connection, anti ddos, atleast 8gb to hold people on and a good cooling system.

i just need anyone who can help me :P

As i can see people tend to tell you information you didn't ask for so i'll simply tell you myself. If you wanna host it yourself and play client same pc. Use 127.0.0.1 that is everyones default IP setting this IP in ur configs will allow the Database and programs to know to send the shits back to ur IP. And if u want others to connect simply send them ur Other IP

127.0.0.1 for you to connect and host
Network > Details IPv4 >give to people that IP and use default port 15779 i think

and then you're done.

Maybe might not work idk just try it. I would do this myself but my fucking files keep messing up anyways bro hope it works

Goodluck with your sever man wishing you the best. And is suggest you not make your sever big. Cause Assholes will DDos just so they can have just their severs up to get money. SRO is all about money no one cares about the game and fun anymore.

So yeah keep ur IP limited and DO NOT advertise here just privately give to friends and trusted people or prepare to get DDos and lose everything you worked for

Wouldnt really work like that. He will have a dynamic ip address so it would change every so often or when he connects/reconnects. He would need to set up Hamachi so people can join his network to be able to allow ppl to connect to his server.
And he will never be able to make his server big on a home pc anyway. Just would never happen!

No. It's a problem.
If you have such system with 0% downtime, ddos protection, you should create your own datacenter and start earning money.

Mhm Dynamic IP? So how would i go about doing such with Hamachi Just opening it and then coping the IPv4 into all my files?
