ECSRO and Sibi bot with Windows 7 Beta build 7000 problem ...

Can someone run ECSRO with Sibi Bot on Windows 7 Beta? I installed this version on my laptop and now i cant play ECSRO anymore.
Error when turn on the trick "Compatible with XP SP2" and requires DirectX 9.0c if i turn the Compatible Mode off, :mad:

Should i go back to Vista? :rtfm:

You shouldnt be using windows 7 yet like you say yourself bot has loads of problems with it. Well simple reason windows 7 is not an official release yet so bots are not made compatible.

Yeah i know, but i just hope somehow we can make ECSRO run like we did with Vista.
This version of Windows has the kernel of Vista and it shouldnt be a problem, we just need to work it out how.
But i like this Windows, cool and faster than Vista, everything works fine, but except ECSRO and Sibi Bot, :'(

Windows 7 is still BETA! i doubt anyone (except huge software corporations) will dev for windows 7 (especially bot devs): its release is too far away.

plus i think W7 is using an even newer distribution of DirectX: its either DX10.x or DX11

and u should be going back to XP SP2/3 instead of Vista.

you cannot run that bot on windows 7 and I think that no one will ever be able to as I think MS has changed the kernel(or tottaly removed it) :)

Ok, so i know. But ECSRO doesn't work on Windows 7 too, that's the doubt, somehow Microsoft has changed the DirectX or is it the Framework thingy?

Same problem faced me when i first used vista, the reason is that ECSRO doesn't recognize that you have a higher directX than the required, adding old DX files to the system32 folder should do the trick..

Every thing working ... perfect lol >< just harder to mimzer game xD

I bot on win7.. it's fine.. but theres SEVERE memory leak issues with win7 and silkroad.. of course it's driver related (vista and xp know how to handle it).. So I just bite my tongue for the moment being.. I will probably end up going back to vista =\ or maybe even xp again.. Although I'd probably miss vista too much, I've gotten used to the flashy looks too much

LAST RESORT change to win Xp with direct x 9.0c and use WINDOW 7 theme..xD

i am using win7...works fine...try doing XP Compat and Run as Admin on sjsro Sibi. thats what i did n works fine
