Hey , I'm gonna buy VPS soon, and i'm a bit confused about my choices.

I don't want to take a decision that i'll regret later, so time to ask the experts.

How much RAM & BW does a 5595 Source + PHP website(10mb size) need ,to work on the vps without lag.

I was targeting Swvps.com's 1st Plan since i saw a post on a forum, they said it's terrible

Anyway, what VPS company do you suggest me, and which plan do i have to take

Thanks guys ;)

It's not necessary, unless you're having thousands of players or a really bad source.

Why is the PHP hosted on the VPS? That is just unneeded traffic contributing to the lag, allbeit minimal it all adds up.

Anyways on topic, about 1/2 GBs would be okay for a small size server with room to expand. But you need to make sure you have good incoming and outgoing line connections otherwise people will still get ping no matter what.

As for companies? I don't really know any decent ones, the only one I have used previously is EUKHOST. They are expensive for very small VPSs, but I have never had a problem with connection or customer service issues, they even upgraded my RAM for free.

That being said, I'm sure swvps would work fine for your needs, and I used to help a server than ran on one of their VPSs with no issues. Everyone has different experiences, and so reviews are not 100% accurate.
