How to create a private server!

This is how to create a private server using ruben Source Pack

Second : Extract the pack

How to setup the Server

• First go to installation folder
• And install appserv-win32-2.5.10
• Now open up your browser and go to localhost/phpmyadmin
• Create a new database
• you will see a, _________|Collation|Create , type in coproj for the blank spot
• Now go to import on top and import the file from \ruben Source Pack\Edited Basic Source called coproj.sql
• And click Go, wait a few seconds and it should be done

Next you go to your DEBUG folder (...\ruben Source Pack\Edited Basic Source\COServerProject\bin\Debug)

and click config edit everything you need to in there.

to
START SERVER GO ...\ruben Source Pack\EditedBasicSource\coserverproject\\bin\debug

but make sure you did the config correctly
and click Shadow Co LvL Server to start it

How to Make a GM/VIP

go to localhost/phpmyadmin
click accounts and insert and follow this :D ( put AccountID : ________) and then the things below

GM = logon type = 2, status = 8

VIP = logontype = 2 , status = 7

NoRMAL = logontype = 2 , status = 0 ( or i recommend you make it at your site )

How to setup a Basic Website page and registration

go to \ruben Source Pack\installation

then copy all of the files from the Basic Website folder and paste in C:\AppServ\www

after that go to each one and edit the password for your localhost and also make your design for website ( it should look like this ( $link=mysql_connect ("localhost", "root", "YOURPASSHERE") or die ('Error: ' . mysql_error());
mysql_select_db ("coproj"); ( thats for reg page instead of razor put ur pass there )

Index is the main site ( index.php)

Register is register (register.php)

TopPlayers is top players (topplayers.php)

bg = background

index_r1_c2 = the header

spacer = the space you see in the box

Now if you did all the right go to

your ip site

which is basically like [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] <<< but replace that ip with yours
and register page and all of that should work correctly

for a more advance website some people posted a CMS website which is a nice one and also TQ Site, i dont have links so :D

then go to \ruben Source Pack\Edited Basic Source\COServerProject and double click COServerProject.cs

learn how to edit in there

Build - F6

Run - F5

It's like the 6th thread about how to....., the last thread was flamed as well, why do you start a new thread about this?/

because this thread is using my source and maybe some people didnt understand the other ones because they are not so clear so back off sherwin your always the one who is flaming the most, telling people they suck or doing something wrong, how about you go do your own server and once it gets good you tell me so then you can criticize me

... So you're saying if a source isn't released, it's not good?

So you're saying AcidCO isn't good? The fact is, the good sources don't ever get leaked. Good coders don't want people to have their source, so they only give it to people they trust.(No, I'm not implying I'm good, people keep thinking I am, I'm really not that great ><)

Nobody has it except me.(Well this version of it, one person has a very old version of it.) Not saying my source is good, but it's *probably* better than the one you released.(Never know, yours could be the best thing since sliced tomatoes.... or was it bread?).
