Pilot Point Guide

I'm really proud of my work on this one thread, and I think it is really worth sharing, and I hope it will become a sticky like other good and helpful threads, if it did, I would know that my work actually helped people.

A. High Priority Skills - get these first in the order listed below (you have to get some first to get the others later). These give you stronger shields, lasers, repair bot and hit points. You will have "fat lasers" with these 21 pilot points (if you add 3 more pilot points in Shield Engineering you will have the "bubble shield). PP = Pilot Points.

Ship Hull I - 2PP
Engineering - 1PP
Shield Engineering - at least 2PP for fat lasers, 5PP for bubble shield
Bounty Hunter I - 2PP
Ship Hull II - 3PP
Shield Mechanics - 5PP
Electro-optics - at least 3 of 5PP
Bounty Hunter II - 3PP
24PP all together
If you buy all these log-disks the total cost = about 800,000 uri. (NOTE: Each pilot point requires that you buy a greater number of log disks.)

B. Secondary Priority PP (only if you want them - they are expensive and don't really give you that much in return). These reduce the probability of enemy hitting you, increases rocket damage and increases laser accuracy.
Evasive Maneuvers I - 2PP
Evasive Maneuvers II - 3PP
Rocket Fusion - 5PP
Electro-optics - other 2PP (see above)
36PP total now (including the 28PP above).
These will cost you another 2.7 million uri.

C. Tertiary in Priority for PP (very expensive - don't spend any of your own money on these as they don't really give you any major advantage in the game). These increase the accuracy of missiles and increases laser damage against npc's.
Heat Seeking Missiles - 5PP
Alien Hunter - 5PP
46PP total now
These last 10PP will cost you 7.126 million uri.

TOTAL COST for ALL of these 46PP is about 11 million uri!

FAT LASERS - if you follow the recommendations in the PRIMARY PP above - you will get fat lasers. Fat lasers LOOK fatter on the screen, and they hit with more power than regular lasers. Here's the minimum and recommended way to get fat lasers:

You can get them in 21 points:
2 in ship hull 1
1 in engineering
2 in shield engineering
2 in bounty hunter 1
3 in ship hull 2
5 in shield mechanics
3 in electro-optics
3 in bounty hunter 2

However, many people opt to go for 5 in shield engineering, so it'll take 24 pilot points to get fat lasers.

Just keep following the lines, shouldn't be that hard. If it is really that hard just follow the text underneath the lines ;) I already thought there was going to be a problem like this before posting. :)

Dude you are such a liar this has been on the forums in do for years. I have same one only the updated version. On top of that next your going to post the configuration speadsheet.

If you are going to steal others work don't call it yours. Damn you idiots wanting to be know for something. How do I know this. I worked on both projects in 2004 and it was updated many times. Another troll looking to up the epvpers ranks.

It was an old outdated version that was copy and pasted to here. If he had the updated version it would show that and 2 points in each rocket fusion and cruelty one.

I don't know what you are saying, my friend had this picture and said I could use the picture, He was the creator of the picture, he was the one that posted it on the forums, I couldn't give him credits because he is not the member of this forum, he said as long as it was going to help out other people I could post it.everything else was from my own words, this took me like 3 weeks to make, the only thing I got from someone else is the picture, nothing else, please stop flaming.

If people would spend less time hating on other peoples success, then maybe they would have more time accomplishing your own goals.

The thing is, the words are exactly the same as the words on the darkorbit forum post. So, it seems a little coincidental, is all I'm saying.

I do not see any spam, just thread related talk, I do not see a reason to close, instead of eliminating spam you created more by typing "Wassup" before every punctuation mark. I think leaving this thread open would help many more even if it did contain bits of spam.

Even I had to come back to this thread today to reset my PP, it is actually really helpful to me and honestly I like it.
