Error while downloading or during installing. Or during program start up?
01/09/2009 14:18 chowda#4
error after trying to load up. its doing that with pretty much every game i try to download

like warrock for instance, i tried loading that, it said after installing some files couldn't be found. so i'm thinking that when i installed XP some files wasn't installed / registered?

ok after downloading direct x 9.0 its asking for a place to extract. i put it in my program files folder and theres a bunch of .rars, i continued scrolling, and found a setup.exe should i run it? or what

oh, and i woke up this morning to checking my driver properties, and there were 4 errors, i updated 2 of the 4, because 2 of them i couldn't update without a disk or something. 1 happened to be my video card and the other was a pci thing.

i should be set then yeah?
if anything i'll come back here and ask for more help.

chowda, if those links do not work. Use this website to get your drivers.

Those are modified gaming drivers. Don't remember what part.

Also, he doesn't have his motherboard drivers installed properly. Most likely he forgot to install drivers for sata. If this doesn't work, give me your system specs. Hard drive makers, motherboard maker, video card. I'll compile a list of drivers for you.

k well, after i got he 2 errors fixed.. there was 2 more.
i went out and get a new video card from my cousin.
its an ATI Radeon 9200.
i hooked it up and my pc isn't detecting it.
i'm thinking that maybe the other 2 driver errors are causing my pc to not detect it?
and the driver scanner i found you need to register for.. and pay
