How to set the resolution of the window mode ?

Hi guys,

searching the forums but nothing especially found :(

How can i set the resolution smaller than 1024 x 768 ?
My second pc has a smaller monitor than my main and i cant set it deep enough
to have it more comfortable.

any tipps are welcome :)

you can change it manually in one of the ini-files. The explenation is somewhere in one of the topics xD. sorry can not help further -> at work ...

INI ===> Right Click on COption.ini ====> Edit with notepad & edit this lanes :


"[Patch_Option]
Width=1024
Height=768"

to

"[Patch_Option]
Width=800
Height=600"

With AltMove.exe you can change the width and height also

i found if you use calculator to figure out the relative sizes, it works much better.
Calculate say, 125% of the height and width values already there for instance, and the ratio will be just right. Muck about with different % calculations to make the window fit your screen perfectly.

lol, I thought i'm going to react on this topic : when the patch pops up, just go to options and change it, but now i read the posted posts i'm just gonna shut up instead of of posting this :p

sounds like a good idea, i will think over it, cuz i saw that 800x600 is in the height too much (the window overlapps the other) and in the width too small (cant see the % of the char) ...

i like that idea much, but i have to change it a bit to fit it to the monitor (4 windows complete to see at the monitor)

/edit: Now I made it 640x480, and it fits ! 4 on 1 monitor and the most important thing is, they overlap only a little bit and the buffbars r all seen :)
