[Server]Kingdom of Souls Version 4.0

Ok, as much as this pains me to this(posting my server info on epvp), but this is most likely the only place to get the help im not so desperate to find. Anyways before people come by spamming and flaming, let me give you a bit of a reality check. If you're not here to do any spamming or flamming and just want to read about the info, please skip to dividing line made of "=="'s - Thank you =)

This is, in no way, meant to be a "Conquer Private Server". CZZC Inc. (The name of my group) wanted to make an online game for about 2-3 years now since its 09. We started 3 years ago using "Eclipse" and did very well (picture of KoS Version 1.0: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]) But the graphics were not doing it for us. After that we decided to use one of our RMXP template games as a base of an online game (Early titles such as our Teen rated template, Pokemon Black - picture: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]) But that was not doing us any good either... sooooo we decided hey whats an online game thats wide, will offer us an expansion to new things and new learning, and not that harsh on a graphic's drive... CONQUER! of course. So on our 3rd year, we came out with KoS 3.0 using TQ's CO as a base. Since then school popped up and sadly my gaming staff went to college... and that screwed us up bad... so now its just me barely getting time to study C# due to my school stuff =p. So yea... we're not trying to be a big Qonquer, or CoEMU, or AcidCO. Thats all =)

1.) I'm looking for a coding team, yes I'm a very newbie coder, thats because I only get a bit of time to study C# and sources, I'm currently in school, and one of the most bothered guy there. I'm one of the top band members meaning I have over 10 events to get ready for all at once... I should be practicing my etude right now... lol...

The team i'm looking for does not have to be experienced, i would like them to be, but i understand, why would a good coder work with someone who cant code... you'll see once you look at the ideas we've been planning for KoS for 3 years... well a small handful of them xD.

¤Starting Off¤[start]

When starting off in the Kingdom of Souls, please know what you're dealing with! Know what kind of person you want to be. There's plenty of Titles you can choose by:

Note: Titles are something that are not displayed directly in the game. There will be a GM broadcast throughout the world announcing new Titles. But titles are displayed on the CZZC Forums.

Kings and Queens

If you wish to be known through out the lands, then you want to become a King/Queen! They're the top of the top when it comes to the kingdoms. They have the right to put a tax on anyone staying residence to the Kingdom. But as of such, they're responsible for any Raids against their kingdom and any problems of attacking and killing.

When awarded King/Queen both/or single gets a free 1socketed Lucky Garment, and a single Dragon Ball. If they're in a Clan/Guild/Pack/Gang they will become a "Royal" group.

Set-Up: You become King/Queen through Monthly, or challenged Kingdom Wars. If you/your guild/buy out the previous Royalty, then you take the place.

Status can be removed because of the following: -Hacking, -Breaking TOS

Trader

A trader can become someone famous, more of less, but someone greatly rich. As a trader you may want to make a Clan/Guild/Gang/Pack for defense, or simply get a body guard. When you get a "Top Trader" status, you're directed by the "Soul Guardians" for people wants and craves for items. As of such you're granted a spot in the "Kingdom of Souls"(Twin City) to sell your items.

Set-Up: You gain a "Trader" status by being one of the best traders, and being recognized by the "Soul Guardians". Once you're titled, you'll be awarded with 1 Soul Orb(Dragon Ball) 1 Spirit Orb(Meteor) Scroll and $1,000,000

Status can stay forever, unless decided to be revoked for the following: -Scamming, -Hacking, -Breaking TOS

Master

A master is someone who is over Level 70, and is able to run a small scheduled training course of a specified Kingdom, under the guidelines of the King/Queen. They're under the protection of the King/Queen, and followed by such.

Set-Up: You gain a "Master" status simply by being good with people, and able to protect yourself and others. When noticed by "Soul Guardians" you'll be given 1 Super weapon of your choice.

The Client
The client will be edited like i usually edit my clients lol. Hopefully the 3rd installment of the client will feature my artwork in color. My old client only had my signature abstract "Blue Soul" as I call it, but this time since i saw that new art work for CO, i want to counter that myself with some of the actual Kingdom of Souls Manga Pictures, here are a few of them.

its gonna be some out of these... yes i prepared these soulfully to make my game unique... local people always wondered why i was drawing these instead of going straight to the manga. =) they're gona be surprised ^^. again still gotta color these though.

Currently I have a big event to prepare for, so this will only be open for Beta. I need a new GM/PM team, and i need some coders... any coders...

atm i'm using Lotf, i know a few people who if we come together im sure we can make a fun stable server that "I'M" aiming for. I wont be able to really get back on C# until after January 10th... and even then its not a promise. I have 2nd Round GMEA to go to on 2 instruments, and after that I have to preform with the district honor band... and after that depending on the 2nd R. Auditions, i have to have to perform at the State Level band... after that i'll be getting ready for a Florida trip to march in a parade... after that its going to be Governor Honors to prepare for...

for these times that i'm a way i need someone to be able to hold the fort down... I'm a person who works as he goes after a planned set amount of steps... If anyone's interested, please contact me.

Lol i do appreciate that, the actual game design, as stated, was being developed for about 3 years xD. There was a lot of time. The reason why im not changing a lot right now is because im still pressed for time.

As for the source... sadly with what i came to a conclusion last night after running some tests, i'll stick with Lotf and hope that my skills with coding it can increase and with a good time, make that crap more stable. - This is also why its only closed beta right now.

I'm open to anyone. My concept is this, if you can bring in a good working team, of anything, coders, graphic editors, ect and they work well together, then no matter what level, they'll get better. When it comes to teams i always like to have at least 2 experienced people, and a good handful of promising beginners. Its a method that i've used for awhile and its been successful to this day... besides the devils game "SCHOOL!" ruins everything... eh..... I'd be honored to have you on the team.

I do appreciate that but I dont feel like im ready to be recommended yet. My ideas are always great yes, I know how work things without programming thats cool yes. But i'm still not as good in C# that I want to be at. Today after opening the Closed Beta, i have to make a file for all the coding languages... Everytime i start a new one i 4get somethings of the old one xD. For example... i tried to work on one of the rpg games we're making... forgot how to set up a simple Dynamic Time System...

Thanks, Photoshop was something i had to pick up to make my rpg games a bit more unique... then after 3months i won a banner contest, and ran with it. =) I always thank those who respect my work... so thanks xD

Alright Other planned additions, after talking with Tao4229:

-We plan on having special features for Kings/Queens and other titles. These features, besides the ones already stated, are things such as special pets. Also they'll have a special item (Thinking of having it for the Gourd slot atm) that increases a stat. For instance like, a Raider would have something like "Skull Belt of Shadow Step". Which would prolly add +agility.

-Pets! As a branch off when Tao suggested the idea above, we'd like have pets, which would be used a guard slot. It will not replace the guard, only saying that it will stay summoned. Pets will most likely be cut off with the the following:
:Class
:Level
:Stats

-Will hopefully add things such as special skills as well, maybe something like for a trader, since his main thing would probably be security, maybe a spell that decreases the attack of someone... not really sure yet, since this may cause a good amount of controversy.


*NOTE*
These are currently more ideas. There is only a good 85% chance we'll add these. We do not not promise anything.

Also, just a heads up, i may just have a torrent downloader =p. I hate making an installation.exe of the client folder... takes a good while to make over night -_-;

nah, just brain storming this week, next week is working on stability, next week, client perfection, next week fixing minor bugs.

on a schedule lol.
