Help Plz ports

i have been spending alot of time trying to chang the game ports. i use charter for my internet. and they block the ports for the game so i cant start the server. i was wondering how to do this so i can open my server i have been working on this server for a couple of years but cant figur out the ports. if someone can help i would apresheate it thank u. sarry for my spelling

Ports can only be changed with knowledge of ollydbg as i've helped Hio with before. Still waiting on his release of the guide to change ports

ok how much would someone want to go threw my server stuff and change my ports for me?

I'll speak with Hio about the release of a guide so players may finally be able to change the ports and host a multi-server

Heh I kinda dropped the ball on this one. Forgot fully to make the guide, from memory I debugged the MSG sever and npc sever to change the ports

This is due to how they are programmed where ports are actually a constant rather than read from a file.

Thus leaving us with misleading config files. On the train to uni ATM for the start of my semester, so I'll have to see when I'm free next to pull out my notes, been concentrating on item action packets recently, tq really messed my head round with that one lol

But yeh, basically run MSG sever in debugger, look for the string 9958 ( that is the port right? I might have pulled another number from somewhere) this should come to one value. Tweak they to your new port and save the exe.
