Also, if you use an older client you could use proxies like QProxy.

I was assuming that he wanted to log decrypted packets.

U can't even connect to the server with an older client because the older clients cryptography wont match the servers. So how would he do that? Assuming when you said older client you ment the ones that were before they changed the cryptography.
