database

hey, i was just wondering if there is a possibility to create your own database for a private server instead of downloading the ones on this website which people had edited, and is it a complicated process to create one ? if not could someone post on how to do so ... :):)

it is a complicated Process, not many people can make Databases from scratch these days, the few i know of would charge you for the services, and most Scratch DB process's take months, or a month for the pro's

Most of us wouldn't charge really, the way I see it personally remaking a database is wasted effort.

Until new new binaries come out, your restricted by what is currently out there. Sure you can push it to an extent but never will there be progress on new features unless new binaries come out, or if a emulator like my project is completed.

There in is a problem in that being that very few understand the game to the extent to do that.

Now if your just wanting to say remake all the npcs etc, that is a possible feet to do, the npcs currently have a lot of useless code in them.

so basically to build a new database from scratch takes alot of time and effort ?

what you can do is, download a database from here, clear cq_action, and remove all the npc`s.

and start from that :)
